Here at New Tech Network Australia, we think teachers are awesome. We also think that great ideas come from listening to and working with others. During a Meeting of the Minds workshop, you get to spend a day working with other New Tech teachers in your own subject area to trouble shoot, share best practice, network and collaborate.
Location: TBC
2022 Dates and Subject Areas Coming Soon
Please Note: This Event is for Network Members Only
As we grow as a network, the need to develop sustainable practices within individual schools becomes more important and a big part of this is our Train the Trainer program.
This year the TtT will be held in our new training facility in Sydney CBD. Close to transport, accommodation and restaurants. We welcome all Network schools to nominate staff who you believe will use this opportunity to support and develop others in your community on their return.
What Is The Goal of TtT?
Trainers are able to work with their leadership team to assess the needs of teachers around core NTN practices (planning and facilitating PBL)
Trainers are able to craft a workshop agenda that supports collaborative, experiential, inquiry-oriented learning (utilising appropriate protocols and activity structures)
Trainers are able to utilise the NTN Tools to increase teacher understanding and skill around core NTN practices
Trainers are able to support individuals in their own growth within the workshop setting
Trainers are able to put together a plan for onboarding new staff in lieu of NTN training
2022 Date: 11th, 12th and 13th May 2022
Please Note: This Event is for Network Members Only
